Here are two remarkable stories of young Mentees.

Mentee– a 13 yrs old girl

Problem:- Despite being in Grade 8, she was stuck up in a learning environment in a state board recognised school which was good for her abilities till Grade 5. This was due to parent’s ignorance of learning outcomes at school and also lack of guidance .

Mentor Intervention:- helped her move to a progressive school set up by IIT Kharagpur alumni and get back in a timely manner on a path to realise her full potential

Current status:- Has adjusted to the new school well, coping with the changed environment and bridging the performance gap so as to be on par with her age appropriate grade by the time she hits the Xth Board..

Mentee:-  3 children in Grades 2nd, 8th and 9th

Problem:- They had broken classroom learning , broken home learning, and yet continued to move to higher grades of classes creating a major learning gap.  Their father, an Uber driver had virtually no earnings during the Covid pandemic  and had no monies and no knowledge of what it would take to remedy their learning .

Mentor Intervention:- helped them to first recover by securing online admission during covid period in a delhi based municipal recognised school, and then post covid secured admission for them  into a recognised school in Noida.

Current status:- Within 4 months of the school reopening all three children had adjusted to formal schooling and are working to bridge the gap.
